The Funplex of Mount Laurel Announced as Presenting Sponsor for Celebration of Philanthropy

Rowan College at Burlington County Foundation Executive Director Anika Riley today announced that Randy Lahn and Amanda Lahn owners of The Funplex of Mount Laurel New Jersey will be the Presenting Sponsor of the 8th annual RCBC/Foundation “Celebration of Philanthropy Luncheon to be held on October 11th 2016 at the Merion in Cinnaminson. “It is incredibly thrilling to have this support and we look forward to working closely with them,” said Tony Mahon, Chair of the Foundation Board. “In working together to produce this year’s most successful fundraising event in the history of the RCBC Foundation, we are so privileged to have the support of Randy Lahn and Amanda Lahn of The Funplex,” concluded Mahon.

Laurel, New Jersey has become South Jersey’s center for amusement park and water park action and fun, featuring 25 acres of indoor and outdoor activities. “More than 20 of our employees are currently students at RCBC,” said Randy Lahn, owner of The Funplex. “In our continuing effort to support and encourage our employees, my daughter and I are extremely proud to  announce that The Funplex will also be establishing an annual Funplex/RCBC Foundation  scholarship for Funplex employees enrolled at RCBC," concluded Lahn.

The mission of the RCBC/ Foundation “Celebration of Philanthropy” Luncheon is to raise money to support the personal and academic goals of the students of RCBC. Since 2009, the RCBC/Foundation has awarded more than $2,000,000 in scholarships. Helping students meet the financial requirements of a college education is the primary mission of the foundation.
