Flaster/Greenberg, Attorneys at law and their Automotive Practice Group recently hosted a seminar and reception for automotive and truck dealers in the firm’s Cherry Hill Conference Center, the third in a series, which focused on how to avoid commercial lawsuits and lessen the risks of disputes related to construction projects.

Quality Dining, Inc. announces the reopening of its Chili's restaurant located at 1906 West Route 70, Cherry Hill, NJ on Monday, June 2, 2008. The location was destroyed by fire on May 3, 2007.  The grand reopening activities will begin at 10:00 am and will include remarks by Daniel B. Fitzpatrick, Chairman and CEO of Quality Dining, Inc., Mayor Bernie Platt, Mayor of Cherry Hill and Arthur Campbell, President of the Cherry Hill Regional Chamber of Commerce.  Other local dignitaries will also be in attendance.

The junior sled hockey team South Jersey Wings of Steel played, fought and won their way through three league championships.  Now the team took on a new name – the Virtua Wings of Steel and presented a newly designed jersey to Richard P. Miller, president and CEO of Virtua Health, the organization that has sponsored and supported the team for four years.

Last February 14 in Mount Laurel, a young boy fell through the ice and plunged into a retention pond’s freezing waters. He was exposed to the icy temperatures for approximately five minutes and submerged in the water for about two minutes. The Craigs, as well as the Mount Laurel police, fire, and emergency medical services (EMS) crew, raced to the scene, pulled him out of the pond and resuscitated him.

Grooveground is teaming up with the Food Bank of South Jersey to drive out hunger and raise awareness of the plight of our neighbors in need. On Thursday, November 29th from 6 PM to 10 PM, Grooveground kicks-off their annual food drive with a “Give and You Shall Receive” launch party with live music, special drinks and a percentage off all purchases for every item donated. The public can continue to drop-off packaged food items or “in-care” monetary donations through December 16th.
