Conner Strong Awarded for Outstanding Service in Bioscience Industry

  Leading Insurance Brokerage and Consultant Honored by BioNJ and NYBA for Industry Leadership
  Conner Strong has received two Service Awards from New Jersey and New York’s bioscience associations for outstanding leadership and overall commitment to the industry. The awards were given by BioNJ and New York Biotechnology Association specifically honoring Conner Strong’s Life Science & Technology Practice led by industry veteran Daniel Brettler.
  “There are many giants in the bioscience industry in New Jersey and New York, but pound-for-pound, the team at Conner Strong is one of the region’s leading resources and advocates,” said Debbie Hart, President, BioNJ. “Since the founding of BioNJ 15 years ago, Conner Strong’s professionals have generously provided their time and expertise. In particular, Daniel Brettler and his team understand the nuances and challenges of the life science industry in a way that only comes from years of working within it.”
  Conner Strong’s Life Science & Technology Practice serves more than 300 clients, providing insurance brokerage and risk management consulting and the senior team members have an average of 20 years experience working directly with or for biotechnology companies.

  •   This month we continue to look at some key metrics that create a snapshot of the regional economy.
      We add a few barometers each month, so that we end up with a pretty comprehensive picture of what’s happening in the region by year’s end.
      In January, we started with the basics, population, square miles, median household income and unemployment rate. This month, we’re removing media household income (it’s an annual number) and updating the unemployment numbers (every South Jersey county was up…the state was up…and the country was flat).
