  • Dining and Dancing with the Stars for ALS

Dining and Dancing with the Stars for ALS

Corporate Synergies sponsored Dining and Dancing with the Starts to benefit SaVes4ALS on Monday, April 14th at The Field House in Philadelphia. Ellen Brosso and Suzanne Bruce, both vice presidents of Corporate Synergies co-founded and serve as co-chairpersons for the SaVes4ALS program. In 2005, the pair was given the opportunity to establish a charitable initiative for the corporation. Knowing that a fellow co-worker had recently lost a family member to ALS, Brosso and Bruce visited the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association. Inspired by those who are struck with this disease for which there is neither known cause nor cure, and upon learning that ALS receives the majority of its contributions from private donors, Brosso and Bruce decided that this local organization was the right fit for Corporate Synergies. With the SaVes4ALS program in place for the 2006 Phillies season, Brosso and Bruce work to oversee the program as well as to raise funds through corporate and individual donations to further the efforts of the local ALS chapter. Visit corpsyn.com for information on how you can support SaVes4ALS and check out snjbp.com featured videos to catch the highlights of this year’s Dining and Dancing with the Stars for ALS.

  • The Rutgers Quarterly Business Outlook

    The Rutgers Quarterly Business Outlook

The Quarterly Business Outlook began in a conference room at the Rutgers-Camden Campus Center in 1994 – with no audience and less interest.

Now the Outlook, hosted by the Rutgers University School of Business at Camden, is a popular bellwether of Southern New Jersey’s economic outlook.

It has sponsoring partners Flaster/Greenberg of Cherry Hill and the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey. It has a television outlet (Comcast-Cherry Hill Channel 2), and podcast availability (Lubetkin Communications). And more than a conference room is needed: 274 people attended the Jan. 15 session at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center in Cherry Hill.

Upcoming sessions: April 22, July 15 and Oct. 15 at the Clarion.

  •   For the third month, we’re taking a crack at identifying the men and women who make the region go…on a county-by-county basis.
It’s our listing, based on our reader’s suggestions, of at least some of the men and women who keep South Jersey on the move.
We started with Burlington and Gloucester Counties and this month’s list focuses on the movers and shakers in Cumberland County. Next month it will be Salem County.
We want to hear from you for every list.

  • This month's manager, Brad Bono of Magellan Hill, discusses relations with employees, customers and communities.
Brad Bono, the successful and innovative South Jersey telecommunications executive, offers his customers a chance to serve others as he does himself.
Bono’s Magellan Hill Technologies sells telecom solutions to small and mid-size companies with the requisite state-of-the-art resources, competitive pricing and smart customer service. It also has added an interesting twist in marketing phone services to residential customers.
